A free day in BERLIN

So on Monday I stayed in Berlin to just hang out with Titty and Anna, and sadly enough Titty got sick... so I had to hit town with Anna and Kosmic... and after almost carting Kosmic off to the wrong airport (Berlin has two main airports) it was just me and Anna running out and in in stores... I tried on hiiiigh heels and then we had some Aisian food before we headed home to Titty who was in bed with the flu. To make my life a little more exciting I missed my flight, since i for some crazy reason had looked on my arrival time in Stockholm and assumed it was my departure time from Berlin. So I had to spend some hard earned savings on a new ticket home, because staying another day was not an option, I had a late night date waiting in Stockholm and a job e next day that enable me to go on those travels...

Non-broken toes and long walks

I found a Hello Kitty soda... it tasted YUCKY and waaay to sweet

So yesterday I was SURE my toe was broken - but after som intense arnica and painkiller treatment the swelling had gone down - the discoloration was still massive, but I decided it was not broken and I will be able to skate with it in two days... pehww...  I even went for a long walk into the ''city center'' of Malmö, the first 20 minutes were really painful and I wanted to cry, but after a while it seemed like the toe warmed up to the thought of walking.

We strolled into a couple of stores, because we were getting haircolor for Loony, she was going INTENSLY ginger... I like strolling into clothing stores - cheking out what's cool and swhat's on sale - and in one of the stores I found this AMAZING leathr jacket! i just WANTED it, it was everything I ever wanted in a jacket! I looked at the pricetag 1600 swedish kronor (that is about 242 US dollar) and choked - I could NOT afford that.. and then I looked up - I was by the sales rack, and everything was 70%... may I tell you all that I now FINALLY have the leather jacket of my dreams, I now look very dyke and no longer have to steal Loonys jacket to wear a jacket. I am very pleased, I think this was a very sucessful day!

And then we met up with Ninja and her dog Twinkie outside the store - we went and sat in the fall sun until we got cold and Ninja almost lost her dog in the flowerbed. (it was quite hillerious to watch her look for Twinkie among the flowers... )

And then Loony bleached all her hair to put bright orange haircolor in it, and I got so inspired I put a bright yellow stripe in my hair... Guess I am really representing CCR on Saturday in our bout we play against Berlin. Crime Citys last homebout of the season!

Showering in a storm

There is a perfect storm outside, the windows are shaking and have done so all night. Malou got up this morning and went back to Denmark to go to school, she will have to do that every morning, take the train over the sound. So today I'm getting a few things, but foremost I'm taking a shower. I have a hate/love relationship with the shower.... I love being squeaking claen, but I HATE to shower... it is boring and a waste of time and maybe water too...  but then I really do like the shower liquid soap I have... It's mentholy and strong... makes my skin tingle, so I guess that makes up for some of the boring.

Eh, by the way, I just surfed into American Appearals homepage (because I wanted to find a picture of my tingeling soap), and there is a topless girl on a donkey. I really don't know how to react to this one... please tip me off...

Day Nine

(Me and Crazy Criz at Copenhagen Pride a couple of weeks ago... she also writes a fitness blogg, but she does it on facebook, or I'd link you in. She is also one of my best friends derby wife)

I spent the majority of the day hanging out with Unshine from Jet City Rollergirls, she is my old teammate, we even tried out for Jet City together. I'm really proud over Jet City that has qualified for Western Regionals this year. Me and Unshine just spent time walking down Broadway and browsing the cheap stores... helping the American economy out a little... what else is there??
We went for lunch and then shopped, but I really didn't shop... I found a little trinket for my Danish lady and some earrings for myself to bout in on Saturday... and then I had to head home to get ready for practice.

Workout: My usual upper-body routine with some core 30 min
Derby: Manhattan Mayhem practice - 2 hours

Breakfast: Coffee with milk and A really amazing sandwich at Snack, tuna and roasted vegebles... YUMMY!
Lunch: A dragon sushi roll with some lime lemonade
Snack: An iced coffee with whole milk an a shortbread cookie
Dinner: Amys Vegetarian Chilli with some pasta
Snack: Coconut water
